Reviews

Tchaikovsky Violin concerto

"He played this popular piece with technical brilliance and a musical flare, tempi and phrasing always just right. The accompaniment was strong with Derek Holland giving Albert sensitive and robust support throughout. The Slow movement was particularly lovely, with Albert showing us that he is not all technical brilliance, he can turn on the pathos too. The finale zipped along, with plenty of rhythmic understanding and clear articulation. As the final cadence echoed around the church, the audience gave him ecstatic applause. Well done Albert, a wonderful performance"

   Graham Wilson.

Solo Fund Raiser:

"It was a delight to hear Albert performing on this fundraising evening for The Orion Orchestra. He performed the Sarasate- introduction and tarantell very beautifully, delighting the audience and keeping their attention focused on him the entire time. "
